Program Design
It is a great cosmic joke that I ended up doing so much work in education, despite my best rebellious efforts not to emulate my family of origin. However, I do take pride in straying away from institutional learning, and towards nontraditional community education. I have an immense passion for curriculum design and accessible pedagogy. If you have the vision of a program or course you would like to offer, but feel overwhelmed by where to start or what do to next, I would love to support you!
Community Outreach
For those of us oriented towards connection and community, “marketing” can feel like a really icky word. I can help you through the drudge of strategizing and implementing a strong community outreach approach that doesn’t force you to abandon your values. As much as possible, I want your marketing efforts to demand the least of your energy, so that you can reserve it for what matters most to you - the relationships with the people you serve.
Faciliation
I take an approach of “compassionate neutrality” when I find myself in a mediation or facilitation role. To me, this does not mean setting aside social context, positionality, or equity; rather, compassionate neutrality necessitates the recognition of all parties’ humanity. If you find your organization or leadership team in a place of stagnancy or conflict, I want to help you get unstuck and back to feeling connected in movement.
